Mark Maynard Pro

Mark Maynard is a writer and community college professor in Reno, NV. He directed "Piconland: The Quest for the Perfect Picon Punch," a short documentary film about the iconic American West cocktail and its Basque-American roots. The film was awarded "Best Nevada Film" at the 2023 Dam Short Film Festival and has played both international and American festivals. In late 2024, "Piconland" made its television debut, airing on PBS Reno, the Northern Nevada PBS affiliate.
