Eliza Hemenway Pro

From photography to writing to documentary film and video production, Eliza Hemenway is passionate about creative nonfiction storytelling. Her goal to to tell stories that inspire hope and create positive social change.

In addition to over twenty years of experience in nonfiction media making, she founded and directed the Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival, was an independent-film reviewer for NPR's KRCB-FM, and has worked professionally creating multimedia content for organizations such as the Redwood Empire Food Bank, Salvation Army National Headquarters, and Sonoma State University. Her documentary work has showcased in numerous international film festivals and arts venues including the EuroDoc, American Animation and Documentary Film Festival, Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival, LaborFest, Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival, San Francisco Frozen Film Festival, he Roxie Film Center, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Jamaica Plain Arts Center, and the San Francisco Public Library, among others.
