- Synopsis
Getting There began in October 2013 with the filming of a keynote address for the New Hampshire Planners Association. The speaker (Claudia Folska) is the holder of a dual PhD in Architectural Planning and Cognitive Science, as well as an elected official at the Denver, Colorado Regional Transportation District. Her presentation —and the subsequent interview— inspired us to dig deeper into the issue of how blind people get around in a world that's not designed for them, and how focusing on inclusive design can make our spaces better, not just for people with disabilities, but for everyone.
