Facing his own mortality, a sage like 93 year old Doctor/Professor spends his waining days passionately sitting bedside to the gravely injured and terminal patients of his hospital. He invites the wounded to tell their stories, masterfully walking alongside them and aiding in their search for meaning and healing in their time of unique vulnerability.
