Celeste is 29 - she dreams about having a family of her own, children, a husband. But for now her life is mostly about work: Three different jobs are still hardly enough to support Celeste's family back home. Celeste is from Paraguay and she lives in the US illegally.
"God knows" is a film about the normality of being illegal - and how it still completely controls the lives of those involved. Telling the story of one young woman, it gives a personal look at illegal immigration in the US.
