With rare film footage, the innocence and joy of 1950's teenage life in Texas during the birth of rock and roll, explodes on the screen. James Dean and Elvis Presley were the stars of the day, inciting teenagers to break away from conservative restraints and embrace a catalytic new music, "rock and roll". The teens document themselves as they fly like birds with their new found freedom. From the bedrooms of slumber parties, with girls in their baby doll pajamas, to the roof tops where they danced on many a summer day, rock-boppin' to the jitterbug beat, you'll see life as it was on Sunburst Street in Bellaire, Texas (Houston) through the eyes of teenage girls, their friends and families. Then one day, in the blink of an eye, it is 2014 and the old house the Director, Gail Reaben, grew up in, known as Party Central in high school, is being torn down to make way for a mega mansion.
