Synopsis

In the city of Tulkarem, located in the occupied West Bank, the intensity of events has escalated to unprecedented levels with repeated Israeli military incursions, the most violent since 2002. These invasions have spared no corner of the city, igniting tension and danger, particularly in Palestinian refugee camps like Nour Shams. In this corner of the West Bank, female paramedic and ambulance driver Safiya, journalist Shada, and young Youssef confront escalating violence and a harsh daily reality. As Safiya saves lives, Shada risks everything to report the truth, and Youssef struggles with loss of his father and brother, their intertwined stories reveal the defiance and humanity of those who refuse to be mere victims. Through their points of view we see both the brutality of the occupation and their resilience, day in and day out, in the everyday and away from emergencies, the courage and unwavering spirit of these common but yet iconic protagonists.
