Synopsis

This 3-part film series takes viewers into a voyage aboard the Sikuliaq ice breaker ship with 20 scientists conducting research to look back over 8000 years to see how storms have impacted the coastal areas of the Aleutian Islands. This story combines local Unangax experiences of climate change impacts and how their ancestors have been resilient and adaptable to rapid change and extreme weather.
