Music of the Hammer
Directed by Paul Miil
Conversations with people in the contemporary professional music scene around Hamilton.
Overview
- Synopsis
Paul Miil documents contemporary Canadian culture with Grammy, Juno and Gemini award winning professionals involved in Hamilton's music industry.
These professionals have either been based in or worked in Hamilton. They share tragedies, major achievements and their inspirational character. Spontaneous live performances throughout.
Hamilton is a rust-belt city being gentrified by Toronto's over-flow. It is a tough city with 1% biker gangs, mafia and some really ignorant, bottom-of-the-barrel type people, but those I interview are the antithesis of this.. well most of them. ;)
