Roadside Scientist

The film is about a scientist ‘Sukomol Basak’ from a remote village 'Tufanganj' in West Bengal state in India who invented a low cost self liquid dispensing system in 2005 in spite of a school drop out.Which is helpful for liquid industry revolution as well as water conservation.Water conservation is now a big issue globally & also for India where the wastage rate is too high.But the satire is after winning President Award for this innovation,no one helps him to promote his work or back him financially.He deserves much more than the present stage of poverty where the ‘Award’ is looking like a comedy show.Every year many grassroots ideas are born in India but failed to see the success,this is one kind of ‘Murder’.
