- Synopsis
Brin d’Amour is an intimate portrait of the life and work of Alain Vigneau, an acclaimed art therapist and former clown. The film explores how his unusual life — from his early years as a shepherd in the Pyrenees Mountains to his time as an international performing clown — allowed him to acquire a particular understanding of the human condition. Following Vigneau through one of his Essential Clown workshops, Brin d'Amour is a personal testimony on rescuing human authenticity that invites us to reflect on the relationship with our ‘inner child’.
