Weedman

When a cannabis activist opened a marijuana-themed cafe across from Trenton’s city hall, he wanted to make the statement that legal weed was around the corner. What Ed "NJWeedman" Forchion didn’t expect, was to serve nearly 16 months in jail without ever being convicted of a crime. Weedman is an 18 minute documentary about standing up for what you believe in, even in the face of police intimidation. Archival footage and interviews detail the escalation to a militarized police force, eventual raid, and subsequent witness tampering charges that were used to hold NJWeedman in jail.
