Redemption

In Damongo, the West Gonja District in the Savannah Region of Northern Ghana, Abraham Lermu Saaka, who is 39years now, follows his mission: He saves babies who are without family or whose parents have decided to abandon them - for whatever reasons. Abraham who was adopted himself decided over 25 years ago to open his doors to abandoned kids. He started small, but year for year his institution became bigger and bigger. Today his orphanage is home for more than 50 children for whom Abraham and his employees try to be mother and father in the same time. Abraham, 39yrs now, founded a school at age 24yrs to guarantee a good education for all of them.
