Trailer: Dancing Joy
Overview
- Genre
- Docutainment, Culture, Arts, Music, and Society
- Synopsis
When Beethoven wrote his final symphony, he broke all the barriers. Today, artists from 21 cultures break new barriers, choreographing their traditional dance movement to his Ninth Symphony, the Ode to Joy. Performing in natural and historical settings, the dancers convey in movement what the composer conveyed in music and song. This is a sensory journey. We are transported to another realm. Not only around the world, but the journey leads inward, to the very essence of what it is to be human, and how we connect to each other.
