Overview
- Synopsis
ONE OCTOBER follows WFMU radio host Clay Pigeon as he takes to the streets in October 2008 to talk to everyday New Yorkers who are facing the promise and uncertainty of change. As Wall Street crashes and Senator Obama makes his first presidential bid, we are able to look clearly at the past to gain insight into the drastic political upheaval spreading across the country today, through the lens of a more hopeful time. Nuanced, cinematic, and often humorous, the film celebrates the resiliency of the human spirit and the beauty that lies in the rich cultural tapestry of a dynamic metropolis.
