- Synopsis
The pride of a town hinged on the demise of their greatest hero.
That was the dilemma facing fans of the Green Bay Packers in 2008. Their hero of 16 years, Hall-of-Fame quarterback Brett Favre, left the team in a very public divorce and sought his way to play for their arch-rivals, the Minnesota Vikings.
A whole generation of fans had grown up not knowing football (or life) without Favre -- and now they had to choose between their team or their hero.
"Last Day at Lambeau" is a reexamination of the sports fan psychology at the time of these events as well as a personal interrogation of the filmmaker's own fandom: "Why do I care so much about something I have no control over?"
