Overview
- Synopsis
"Veins in the Gulf" is a documentary about the disappearing coastline of southern Louisiana and the community trying to save it.
Coastlines around the globe are threatened by climate change. Louisiana's coast may be the most threatened in the world. But it's not only the hurricanes or oil spills that endanger Louisiana...
Interviews with scientists, musicians, writers and engineers are narrated by Louisiana poet Martha Serpas. Louisiana's story is a compelling example of how coastal communities around the globe must come together to deal with environmental changes in the immediate future.
